If you're on a short visit to the islands but would like to see as much
sights as possible, then the Pearl Harbor/Circle Island Combo Tour is
the perfect tour for you. You'll save time and money by conveniently
visiting Hawaii's most popular places in one affordable tour.
The first part of your tour is a visit the historic U.S.S. Arizona
Memorial at Pearl Harbor, where you'll get a chance to board the
memorial itself and feel the sobering experience of that day over 60
years ago.
While at the U.S.S. Arizona Visitor Center, you can also buy souvenirs
and see other Pearl Harbor artifacts on display. Also included is a
short film about the Pearl Harbor bombing of 1941, which will be shown
before boarding the memorial.
The second part of your tour is a sightseeing bonanza from panoramic
views to lush tropical rainforests. You'll be visiting popular spots
such as Diamond Head Crater and the Kahala Residential Area before
visiting Hawaii's famous beaches such as Hanauma Bay, Makapu'u Lookout
& Beach, Sandy Beach and the famous Halona Blow Hole.
Also included is a lunch stop (meal purchase on own) where you'll have
a chance to try some of Hawaii's most delectable dishes. Afterwards,
your tour continues through the Windward coastline, visiting places
such as Chinaman's Hat Island from Kualoa Park, the famous North Shore
and Dole Pineapple Pavilion where you can try their popular pineapple
ice cream.

Shirts
and shoes are required on the USS Arizona Memorial, and no swimsuits are
permitted. On the USS Missouri High heels, dresses, and skirts are not recommended.
SECURITY MEASURES
The following
security restrictions are in effect on USS Arizona Memorial and Visitor
Center, Submarine Museum and USS Missouri:
Bags NOT ALLOWED include the
following:
-NO Packages
-NO Women's purses, fanny packs or backpacks
-NO Camera or Video Cases (Larger than the camera they hold, e.g., those with
extra pockets or compartments. Cameras are allowed)
-NO Video Cameras larger than 12 inches
-NO Luggage
-Any other closed container that might conceal something
Passengers will be asked to
remove these items from
their possession prior to entry, so advance notice is
highly important.
Medical Requirements:
Note: USS Arizona Memorial visitors with medical requirements such as
medicines, diabetic supplies, etc., may bring a small bag containing the
needed items but it will be inspected by a Park Ranger and will have a medical
identification tag attached before entry to the facility.
Note: You will be able to
leave belongings on the bus. It is recommended to keep all valuables with you.
Bag Check Information:
For items larger the 12" H x 12" W x 12" D. The adjacent USS Bowfin
Memorial Park will operate a storage container for items carry-on size or
smaller 30"H x 30"W x 18"H. The fee is $2.00 per checked item.
Large luggage will not be accepted. The USS Arizona, USS Bowfin Memorial
and the USS Missouri Memorial shall not be responsible for damage or loss due
to fire, theft or any other cause, to times or the contents therein when
checked for storage while visiting this facility. No employees or
attendants have the authority to vary, modify, alter or enlarge any of
the foregoing terms or conditions. |
